What people say about it
We've really liked the new system, especially the new user interface, and usability.
Really good support, especially when starting homeschooling as a complete beginner. A center around which it is good to build.
It clarifies schooling. Everything that needs to be learned is learned when following the plan.
Easy to use and offers the possibility to complete broader learning modules according to one’s interests.
Study materials organized with high quality on an online platform.
Creating the study plan, especially in the early years, was more valuable than gold. The background support in every matter has made progress easier. And the pricing also makes it possible for families with several children to keep their children in homeschooling and in the Phoenix Online School.
Well organized.
For the first time in her life, our child's schooling went well in the online school.
How KC Supports Deep Learning
KC is built on 7 principles from Learning Sciences — here’s how they come alive:
Personalized learning paths + student voice and choice. Multiple ways to organize learning.
Chat rooms, peer feedback, community projects, safe sharing spaces. Virtual social enrivonment.
Hands-on projects, real-world challenges, art and storytelling. Connecting outside life and world to school studies through journaling.
AI support, visual learning maps, flashcards, reflection tools, visible and visual process of learning.
Tutors and teachers as facilitators, guides, and co-learners. Shared schedule to arrange events, workshops and teaching moments.
Real-world connections, cross-disciplinary projects, authentic assessment. Students can also create their own questions.
AI, gamification, collaborative tools — not just more screens. System guiding real-life learning also outside school and screens.

Why Knowledge Constructors?
Knowledge Constructors (KC) was created to offer students, schools and families freedom, flexibility, and meaningful learning experiences.
KC has served over 1,000 Finnish homeschoolers since 2010, and used in Finnish and Spanish schools — and the feedback is overwhelmingly positive.
Example question: “How and why did the Second World War start?” — students can write a short answer or an in-depth essay, visit museums, or conduct personal projects.
